I have an opportunity to snag these for $200 I'm trying to sell my 2004 Limited $200 but the tires are too bald even for a test drive. Are these just too big without any lift? The size of the tries are 255/70/R17

They will most likely rub, probably pretty bad, even just on the street, with no lift.
For reference, I had to trim plastic just to put on 255/75/17 with 4" of lift.

For reference - the tire comparison tool at the below site is GREAT for comparing the OD and speedo offset of different sized tires. I've used it countless times. Most recently used it to get the same OD when downsizing the 18's on my Escape to 16's so I could gain more side wall and get better AT options...
