New guy here. I recently purchased a 2020 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 3.6L V6. My vehicle did not come equipped with the optional HID headlamps, but I figured I would just replace the OE halogen’s with LED’s, which I prefer over HID’s anyway. I’ve replaced tons of headlight bulbs in my life, so how hard could it be? I watched a YouTube video where a guy shows an access hole inside each front wheel well. I was able to remove the rubber boot from the back of the driver side headlight via the access hole, but that’s as far as I could get. I could feel the bulb socket, but I couldn’t turn it. All I managed to do is scrape the heck out of my hands. I wanted to replace the high & low beams as well as the fog lights, but I eventually gave up.

How the heck does a guy get to these bulbs?

There is a couple write ups in the maintenance or modification write ups.

In the WK2, you will get better function (see the road better) with brighter halogen bulbs, but they burn out quicker. If you insist on LED style/color then no problem.

There is a recent thread around here somewhere that discusses it. If no one jumps in here or you don't find it by the time I get back to a computer, I'' try to take a look.

The forum search engine is a bit weak for ancient threads, but the WK2 using the forum and basic info sticky thread has info on how to your more powerful search engines, like DuckDuckGo if you value your privacy or Google if you don't mind ads showing up related to what you searched for. :)
