Hey guys, new member here, finally decided to join after searching the site for a while. I have a 2002 WJ Overland with a 4.7HO and 545RFE, replacing my transmission with a low-ish mileage junk yard unit from a Commander, is that a direct swap? As in torque converter is the same and the units just swap out? Just covering all my bases before i screw myself over.

The 45RFE and the 545RFE are the same trans. The difference is the TCU software, one can turn their 45 into a 545 by swapping in a TCU from a 545 vehicle, I believe 01 and up in the GC's case.
