Some high level Orvis production numbers have been floating around for many years. I decided to see how accurate they were and add a little more detail and context.
The original numbers, as suspected, were USA delivered only. Chrysler rarely gives anything but USA delivered figures. Our Canadian brothers are always left with no Canada specific information.

As always, a VIN and build record behind all of my numbers.

If there is another forum I should post this on let me know. My direct email is in the copyright square on my charts, just remove the "-==-".

fyi - For those that don't know me, I'm currently the only source for modern MOPAR production figures. (Not sales numbers, but actual assembly plant model year production)

Enjoy!

Thats neat to look at. Its wild that the only orvis Ive seen around here was a 95 4.0... If it had been in a little better shape I would've bought it. I did end up getting a bunch of parts from it, shouldve gotten more....

Wonder why they even bothered putting the 4.0 in the 97's? Be cool to find a 97 light driftwood with the 5.2.

Have you done this with the 5.9's?

I just looked and it looks like I have researched the 1998 5.9s, but don't recall if I ever posted my chart. I'll post it up in the ZJ forum for all to view.

The orvis was always available with the 5.2 standard and 4.0 optional, but the numbers show how popular that was.

When I type my vin it adds the orvis tag at the end but it's solid silver. Has the tow hooks 5.2 1997 just bought it for 900 runs decent. I'm super happy with the buy just curious bout the vin vs color.

Theres a 97, I assume light driftwood, on marketplace near me right now. Saw it a week or so ago and didn't know there were non green versions. Fairly rare combo it seems. Looks to be a decent shape. 193k asking 4k.
