Hi everyone,
I just have one question. I have been searching for a day trying to find the answer but no luck. So I am looking at a 2005 grand cherokee rocky mountain edition. I thought it was based from the Laredo but on the back of the jeep it has a limited badge. Was the rocky mountain package also available on the limited edition? Thanks everyone for your responce:thumbsup:

Rocky Mountain is its own trim level, generally with no other trim badging. It's possible someone added the Limited badging later or it was one of the many vehicles the plant did strange things with. ;)

By the pictures it's got all the right equipment and colors for a Rocky Mountain 4x2. And pretty likely not a Limited, since it's not badged for a 4.7L.

And just to check: You know that Jeep's a 4x2, right?

Thanks for the responce. Ya I know it's only a 4x2. I don't mind it not being 4x4 here in Phoenix. I can still have some fun.

Thank you. I did see those before. I was just confused about why there would be a limited badge on the rocky mountain edition. Thanks everyone for the links and info. I have been reading so many bad things about the 05 grand cherokees that I might be passing on this one.

Rocky mountains also wont get a trail rated badge watsoever. Honestly its only got the fancy rocky mountain badges and custom seats in it. And it comes in a forest green. If thats what your looking for. :)

The Rocky Mountain is actually a package for the Laredo. It is similar to the Laredo X package. If it has a Limited badge on it, it was put on by someone after the fact. Mine came with the 4.7, leather, power pedals, etc. They are definitely Trail Rated in the 4x4 edition.
