My wife loves riding in the jeep with me, but hates wearing a hat. Her hair is only long enough to fit in a pony tail, barely; the problem is it will not stay back and out of her face. Any recommendations other than a hat or just letting it fly?

My wife has a bandana tie back that she uses in the jeep.

You could tell her that she isn't allowed to ride in your jeep until she grows her hair out to the length that females are supposed to have.

have her try one of those claw clippies... i used to do that whenever mine wasn't totally ponytail length... either that or the bandana way works too... but it messes up ur hair gives it that funky bump...

I bought a couple of hair scrunchies and keep them around the shift handle for her. I definatley earned some points with her for that. :D

I had hair to the lower part of my back for 15+ years until I bought the Jeep. I got a haircut after trying for two summers to avoid a hat. Now I have short hair and I like it. Maybe she should go butch. :)

My hair is 3/4 to my *** and so is my girls'. She drives a CJ and I drive the TJ, both have no doors or tops all summer. We usually wear hats. Just simply tying your hair into a ponytail doesn't work unless you want dreadlocks. It gets gnarly after a whole day of wheeling and highway driving. What works best is to tie it into a ponytail and then put 5 or so ties down the length of it, keeping it under control. That and braids work well.
I tell you what though, nothing has made me want to cut the rug more than this Jeep.

wow. just uh... wow...

My wife had the same problem. I went to the Harley shop and bought her a doo-rag. She wears that or her Jeep cap. She also grew her bangs out to go in the pony tail or the cap.

She did three things..... Adjusted, adapted and overcame.
