Kids kids kids

Sometimes I feel like a nursery school teacher and the class
is out of control-

Diapers being thrown, boogers being flicked,
stop touching me- you touched me first- blah blah blah.

Makes for some intertainment-

I just dont like the ones who come on just to start a bunch of crap.

It's like a little family- members come and members go. Some stay for a long time, some stay for a short time.

Some of us meet and make great friends and some big groups get together and remain a tight bunch of friends. We all learn alot about wheeling, techniques, things to put on our jeeps. mods, tricks and things not to do.

This is a great forum for everyone who wants to learn things, meet people who are into the same thing, who want to get out and see new places to wheel and who need some help in projects they are working on.

If you have a problem with someone- just im a mod and lets get it taken care of.

Cut down on the flame posts and don't get caught up in emotions and let it ruin your day. Enjoy the site and the wealth of information you can get.

Ya it has been bad here (yesterday) anyways. But a lil flame here and there wont hurt anyone, i mean its the internet, grow some think skin right?? If your that emotionaly fragile on the internet how do you go about in life??

But like your said, threads that are just made to flame are un-needed, i totaly agree with that.

You'd be suprised how quickly some people get offended and take it personal-

Heck, I post on POR. and if that isn't bad nothing is. But you can get great information between all the bs.

I use a different name over there- just so if things get going good it doesn't ruin my rep everywhere. Ya know.

Ya man i agree with ya...

I think this forum is ran well... we got good tech section where i think its safe to say no spam and flaming. Thats why we got General Discussion come here and shoot the ****. Even here its not bad at all. Trust me i go to other forums and if you had to Moderate them, you would have been posting this thread a while ago! lol

YEah some people dont have any respect..........they are just immature and hopefully they will grow out of it.....arguments are good and fine but if someone just comes over to start trouble then they should be taken care of

Theres a difference between debating an issue and coming over and posting pictures and having a negative responce everytime certain individuals post.

Keep up the good job mod's. This is still by far the best forum.

I hope you didnt take my post the wrong way, i do not defend trolls in anyway, that thread just started out bad, and i agree that it should have been deleted. But what i meant is a good debate/argument isnt bad all the time. You can tell when someone is here just to start trouble and to point something out.

nice post, kirk.. i was "working" in here yesterday.. i had more posts "reported to moderator" yesterday than i have in a looong time. it is like anursery school in here some times. one person was banned, and 2 others sent pm's. this IS NOT the board for the bs. if you like the arguing, flaming, drug references, and "adult" pictures, and references.... there are other forums out there whert that is concidered appropriate. this is a good fun loving, positive, non-flaming site for "grown-up" jeep, and wheeling people.
when people get into these flaming, and bickering wars, it becomes a nuisence for everyone to read. often times a good post has to be deleted because it takes a bad turn, and becomes a battle field, and that is a shame... it is easier and more efficient to delete the thread than to clean all of the crap out of it and watch it like a hawk for the next bout.
i hope everyone reads this post, and gets the picture of the type of site this is...
i post on a number of other boards as well... when i feel like i need a good *** kicking i make my way over to por, for info on specific subjects pertaining to jeeps....bbs, to talk with siome close knit friends, mjr...and so on.....
this is FANTASTIC board, but certainly some of the childish behavior is not tolerated here

I have slowly watched this forum change over the past year and a half or more.. with the loss of the old crew, came the new.. and a great deal of knowledge was lost. I know there were some disagreements, and i dont know about you... but i sure miss drack, allanalexander, mrbill, bob J, captain morgan, swamp rat, KeithTJ, and no one can replace hank. (need i bring up towhooks?) This forum still has more to offer than any other forum, while still keeping a friendly atmosphere, so here i stay. The newer members will only follow by example, so i feel its up to the more 'senior' members to show how things should be done. Keep it clean, arguments are fun, but a wise person knows when things should stop. I enjoy the forum, and i hope all the new members enjoy it as well..... theres not another place like it anywhere on the net.

Quan, I agree -- that was a fun bunch and it was always very lively and always a laugh.

things happen and things change -

its still a great place - and there are still lots of the old crew around.

look at the first few pages of posts and see how many names you know- how many are gone,

flip through the pages from day one.

it always changes.

- gotta turn somewhere to get the know-how to fix them. You mods to a great job keepin this board clean... and the best thing is.... not to sound mean, but most of the time you're not needed... which is good for the board, shows that we got a good bunch here.. enough of the mushy stuff.... Who thinks i should bedline my grill and my fenders?

edit: did what you said cetrov... looked back.. anyone else miss osburns infinite wisdom?
