I have looked and looked on here and on Google with no success. One or two numbers here and there, but no where was there one nice list of interior cargo measurements. I wanted to know how big of a box I could get, how I would lay things out, and other things a man ponders laying in bed at night.
That said, here are the interior cargo dimensions I took today. It was done on a 2015 Cherokee Limited, but I would imagine all of them would be pretty close. Note that all depth measurements were taken to the lip of the plastic molding around the rear hatch. In other words, as close as you could get without jamming stuff in or risking damage to seats, dash or plastic.
Rear seats up, slid all the way back and reclined: 26" deep
Rear seats up, slid all the way forward, not reclined: 38" deep
Rear seats down: 62" deep
Distance between wheel wells: 39" wide
Right front and rear seats folded down: 100" deep
Right front and rear seats folded down: 14 1/2" wide
The silver cargo arm on the LR side.
Behind it: 3 1/2" deep and 7 1/4" long (from locking end to where wheel well starts)
Arm length: 16" long
Between lock and hump connection: 12" long
Height (outside, top to bottom): 5 3/4"
Rear hatch opening height: 28 1/2"
