If its like the 2011-2013, the inverter is under the passenger seat:

1.Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2.Remove the passenger side front seat (Refer to 23 - Body/Seats/SEAT - Removal) .

3.Remove the two retainers (2).

4.Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

5.Slide the power inverter module (3) out of the bracket.

Install is reverse

It seems to be the same power inverter used for years in several Chrysler products, perhaps PN 05026278AB which is about $100 at discount parts dealers. Dunno if you can get at the inverter without removing the seat.

Good point, how do you know its the inverter?

Actually not so standard practice in the Jeep world except for that forum. The owners were spamming this and several others awhile ago and eventually got banned and filtered. It is against forum rules to advertise without a vendor account. As far as I know thats the only forum besides another pirate that gets filtered. Otherwise this forum encourages linkbacks. We are a jeep comunity.

CC, I've been moderating at several forums over the past decade (different topics) and they all have "no links to other forums" rules...some for commercial reasons and some because other sites may not enforce the same "all ages friendly" rules in place. I do agree that it would be nice to have more freedom to reference great material wherever it lives. Unfortunately, business models and certain realities seem to impinge on that...so we all find, um...workarounds. ;)
