I recently picked up a new 06 TJ. I previously had a 99. The new rig is making a slight squeal/chirp noise which is noticable from both inside and outside the vehicle. The noise goes away if I barely rest the weight of my foot on the clutch pedal. I am assuming this is a throwout bearing noise. I had this it to a lesser extent on my 99 (my 89 Dodge dakota is also quieter).
Is it common in the newer TJ's or should I take it to the dealer (which is always a PITA...)?
