I have a 2" bb on front and rear. should the rear be squatting so much? i am going to do a front to rear swap, but out of budget right now (dc-2's being ordered next week so any other mods need to wait). if i get some stock size rear coils from moog for $60, will that take care of the sag? or is the sag normal?

woah, sorry for the picture size!!! don't know how to correct the size of the pic.

Measure from the hub to the fender and see how much different it is from from to back. Should be the same (or really close). If you have a lot of stuff in the back then take some of it out and that may help too.

Done and done. Put my chains under.back seat and took all other unecess out. I think I just have alot of squat. I think even stock coils will even me out.except an imch. My crap looks like two inches.squat.

take the bb off the back and get you some front coils from jy and it will sit a little higher in the back then the front but then u get all your gear in there and it will probably level it out

I'd say time to put in new rear coils...either stock back ones + BB or front coils in the back as suggested already. Good luck.

What I was thinking. We have another baby on the way, so budget is low. But shes letting me get my wheels. Im fine with 2" for now, but the squat......

front used coils will be cheap from junk yard its definite for a budget

well the front springs of a zj from jy will bring the back up about 2.5-3 but it wont sag anymore and id think 20 bucks at most so buy some rear shocks and springs for 60 lol

When mine sagged like that, I replaced the trackbar and all control arms. After the parts were replaced, it no longer sagged.

Front ca's and front track bar? How does that affect rear squat?
It wouldn't, i think he was referring to the rear, and the only possible way to get right of sag with new control arms would be if they were tightened with the suspension drooped, causing the bushing to have preload. but that is a major long shot, CA's don't affect ride hight. only springs and shocks if they are preloaded.

So is my idea of new stock shocks my answer?

Possibly, if they are like a bilstein 5100 with a preload. I got around 3/4 of an inch of lift in the rear of mine.

But springs are a sure bet

I used to think that Old Man Emu coils weren't that good but I was mistaken. They are a nice improvement over stock and come in 2" and 2.5" I think. They also come in medium and heavy duty which are extra stiff. www.kolak@aol sells them. I'll probably pick up a set soon if I can go one month without breaking something.
