Sluggish Jeep

Hello,

I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 44,000 miles.

When I have to drive up a hill I feel like I am standing on the excelerator and Im just not getting the power I should be getting. Once the transmission kicks in my RPMS go through the roof.

Is this normal?
