Thanks that's what I was thinking just don't want to get it and it won't work in mine it all matches up just numbers aren't same

The serial number isn't going to be the same, that's more like a fingerprint for that device. The model or module number is what needs to match up, or be a substitue for.

I had to replace the A/C control in my 93 and I just found one like it. Never looked at the serial numbers. I do believe it was for the 93-95 ZJ's, though.

Model numbers are for the same thing, just different years, but both are still for 93-95 and will interchange.

Yeah they will work if the same model…these Jeeps aren’t like the new nightmares to work on lol

yeah you can just swap in an ATC for an ATC or a manual knob for a manual knob. these ZJ dont care.

are you by chance replacing the heater control because the fan switch is not working? If so, I had to install a better ground wire from control to provide a better ground and that solved the problem. I got this advice from a jeep mechanic friend of mine who saw this on a few other vehicles....Best Jim

It's dead completely has nothing but I did notice that the ground was not connected when I pulled it out it did work till I my Vic started strobing white light and killed radio Vic and heater replaced radio and Vic now just heater controller out tested wiring it's getting electricity to it so now I'm replacing it think I might ground old one to see if that helps but it does have a burnt smell to it
