Am I incorrect in saying idler alignment is done by the press-fit of the bearing in the pulley just like an oem YJ?
The idler bearings are press fit into the pulley but slip fit on the mount.

So what I was alluding to is that you set the pulley center by press fit depth of the bearing.

That’s how I’ve done mine; I learned that the hard way many moons ago when only half a belt landed on the pulley. I took the bearing out, noticed original location witness, and reinserted without bottoming it.

Been doing house work lately so not much Jeep stuff. I did buy my old wheels back and got a set of radial 40’s to drive around on the street. Also ditched the bullet style muffler for a Dynomax turbo muffler. I’m sure it’s more restrictive but it’s sooo much quieter and nice to drive.

Got a audio clip of the new muffler? I'm definately getting tired of my Ultra flo load drone....

Wait, where does his exhaust go to? Lol.

Man, I keep thinking about getting a meaner sounding exhaust, but also get worried about a louder exhaust driving me nuts, lol.

I spent good money on 2 6x9's and 2x 6.5" speakers, seperates all around, and would hate to not hear the clarity. But a louder exhaust still calls my name.....

It goes out the side of the tub in front of the passenger wheel. Mine is LOUD ,,, its ok for a while but gets obnoxious after a bit...
