At start up it take a few key turn over before my jeep starts. The first few times it just make a click sound...almost like the battery is dead. However after a few tries it start right up. The battery is brand new and the cable are wired to the battery securely. Alternator checks out fine as well. Before I go down a rabbit hole of the process of elimination on trouble shooting. I'm hoping to get ideas of what I should check next?

If it's just one click, I would think it's the starter, if repeating clicks then I would check your grounds.

Likely bad cables or the starter is bad

Year and engine?

I'd lean toward bad cables as well.
