Not sure on it yet ... So far it just seems to make me have to click more times to get to the same spot I used to get to on the main page.
Maybe we could have a section called, "HEY, CANMAN HOW CAN I SPEND MY MONEY" :rofl:I like how my thread is considered under the nonsense category.
This is basically Yj non tech. I think there should be an entire section like the XJ guys have without being wrangler general discussion.
wrong spot for this (I think) ... I would ask around maybe someone could use itI recently changed did the internal to external slave conversion. It seems that no one really sells the line for the internal slaves. Does anyone think it would be worth selling before I toss it out?
I like this,Chat thread
what I did today
Then maybe one more as a container for the non tech stuff that is YJ specific.
Man you got a great deal... I like the look of the front flares on the back with the trimmed quarters... Is it SOA?This is my newest project. I bought this 1989 Jeep Wrangler about a month ago. I believe I got a great deal on this jeep. The previous owner put a rebuilt 4.0 out of a 93 wrangler in this jeep. He stated that the motor had been bored 30 over. He stated that he couldnt get the engine to crank, and that he was tired of messing with it. He was asking $4500 for it. I decided to take a gamble on a jeep that wasn't running, and I talked him down to $2500. I replaced the fuel pump and fixed some wiring issues. Now the jeep cranks right up and drives great! I can't believe I got this jeep for $2500. The jeep has a ford 8.8 rearend with an electric locker. I'm not sure what gears are in it yet, but after driving it, I know they are right where they need to be. I plan on figuring out what gears are in it soon. The jeep also came with five brand new 36" super swampers. Under the hood, I noticed a Hesco high flow throttle body spacer with a Hesco high flow throttle body. It has a Hurst manual short throw shifer. It has an aftermarket fuel cell located in the back of the jeep, a custom aluminum dash, and a later model roll bar. The lift is all suspension, no body lift. Im not sure how much lift it has. Does anyone have a good guess to what size lift I have? I am now in the process of pulling the dash and trying to get all the gauges wired up correctly. I am proud to say that I've been a jeeper for 12 years now.
Nice looking YJgfd66 said:I finally figured out how to post up some pics in the gallery. These are just after I bought it, as-is, took it to the firehouse and started cleaning it up. When changing out the front brakes, I found out the hub bearings are bad. Now the fun begins!!! Also pulling the sport cage and putting in the later gen "family cage".
All I know now is you have a hybrid PACER, I'll send you a paper bag to cover your head as you drive ... loljbolty said:I was wondering how many different vehicle parts I have.
