I'm sure you've seen these type of things before, but it's an alternative to the 3/8s plate idea. Plate would probably be cheaper anyway.

So how do you feel about that trans mount now that you've run this for a while? I am debating still between this and the way SFRautomotive made his mounts. I'm thinking I should get it as low as possible being at 4.5" (and maybe more someday).

As low as possible Do you mean as high as possible? You really never want to drop the t-case, if you get driveline problems it's a caster- and pinon angle issue, not a TC being too high

Yes, down as in transfer case to crossmember relation. It won't be dropped really, since the new crossmember is actually pushing it up from stock location. I was just wondering if he has had any issues with his mount that way.

Haha I've got all kinds of current angle problems, trust me.

I have had issues with the trans mount being as high as it was. Actually, yesterday I have started another round of mods to the cross member. Stay tuned for pics of my flat cross member V2.0

I'm in! Should be picking up steel to start mine this week! :thumbsup:
