Looking to budget boost my WJ 2 " this week. While I was under there was thinking of making a sway bar quick disconnect.

Am I right in thinking I only need to disconnect one side of both? After that the sway bar is doing nothing I guess.

Or am I wrong?

Well i would if i was making them myself, look to see what has been done. No use reinventing the wheel. I would think just one side will cause issues on the other in flex. most are fixed up out of the way on a bracket or zip tied if its bush craft.

Sure, you’ll only need one side disconnected. After that the bar rotates freely in the frame bushings in sync with the side that’s still connected.
