Not necassarily. Willys MBs were 9 slotters...or Ford wouldnt have had any plans on which to build the GPW to begin with. Those 9-slot grills are next to impossible to locate. Went to college with a guy who had among other jeeps, a 45 CJ-2A he had converted to an MB. That singular part took 2 years and his gf (whom he stole from me) found it and bought it for his b-day.

He was KIA in Iraq not long after he graduated.
