We had the town garage catch on fire yesterday. Had the normal problems at first, no help and little water. Everything came to gether and made a great save. Good thing the fire broke out at 12:00 noon when the workers were there and not after hours, because it would have been a total loss.:2thumbsup:

2 drunks riding a 4-wheeler at over 60 on a road with a 35 speed limit. Dropped off the shoulder and rolled, no helmets. One was fine, refused treatment. Other one was unresponsive, got on scene and he didn't want help. He went unresponsive again and we went to work. Got him loaded and the cop arrested his buddy. Finally a run, good night for me.

A few years ago we had a 18 wheeler with cows, the cows shifted as the driver went around a turn, and then we had the mess .. We had to get the live cows to the park about a block away until we could get other trucks to get them, and clean up about 4 dead cows.

You are right turned over semies are a sight.

Had a Ford Ranger hit some ice on an overpass on I-27 this AM at around 0600. Went into a side skid that traveled completely across the median and struck the last post on the guardrail for oncoming traffic. Truck rolled once after clipping the guardrail, then landed on its wheels. Girl driving had minor injuries and was transported by EMS. Lucky there weren't any vehicles in oncoming lanes. Then our local police officer almost got hit by a woman driving a Jeep Commander that wouldnt slow down for the lane diversion we created. The wrecker that was on scene blocked traffic ahead to get a better angle on the Ranger. It was then that the officer had a "chat" with the woman. We then got called to an unknown fire that ended up being a barn with the light left on. Had a glow to it, but it was nothing.

Yesterday we went to a automobile fire (postal worker carrying mail). The engine bay is toast, but the rest of the vehicle can be salvaged. None of the mail burned.

Again same spot as above, an 18-wheeler flipped, except this time we had to extricate the drive out... took quite some time to do so and clean up the mess... was there for a good 3 or 4 hours :brickwall

but hey, gotta love every minute of it

Small animal shed cought fire. Fully involved when we got there. Took 3 departments to put it out. Wind kept it going pretty good. The owner was pretty lucky because his house was about 15 feet from the shed. Sad part is that some of the animals were still in it when it burned. :( I didn't realize they were in there until we were almost through. About 5 goats and a chicken.

Double pin in/fatalities. Car caught fire. Took us two hours to cut the bodies out of the car. Passed on solid yellow, lost control and hit a tree. It was ugly. Slow down people! :brickwall
