So far I have broken 3 Craftsmen torque wrenches so I've stopped using them. I have been using the $80 Husky from Home Depot for over a year now and I have maxed it out at 250 lbs multiple times without any issues.

Have had a Craftsmen for quite a few years, does the job still working fine.
I just bought a 3/4 Dr 300 ft lb from Harbor freight, checked against the Craftsmen, and it is right on with that.
Been looking at torque wrenches on eBay, and there are good deals to be had.
Missed a CDI 0 to 300 in lbs dial that went for $35.00

I work in naval aviation and we use strictly snap-on. And being that its the military, I've seen some incredibly moronic and equally unqualified individuals do some pretty stupid things with snap-on torque wrenches and their calibration has remained unaffected

I just use an old craftsman, I have a 1/4" one from harbor freight and its nice too.

Make sure you turn the handle (if you get the type where you turn the handle to set torque) all the way out when you store it

my 1/2 drive 25-250 ft/lbs is matco, my 3/8 drive 40-200 in/lb is snap on, and a snap on dial type in/lb wrench.

I bought all 3 for less than $80 each on ebay. And all the tool franchisees honor the warranty even if you bought it used. I dropped them all off on the truck when he came around and got them calibrated. the snap on guy even calibrated the matco wrench for me. good stuff, good warranty.

You mean this one for $14 ? That price seems very cheap compared to some of the $230 ones i've seen... You sure its good ? I mean i dont want to spend anymore then $100 on a torque wrench so the price is fine for me i just dont want to find out i torqued the bolts wrong and leak coolant and stuff in the engine. If these 2 cheap wrenchs will work then more power to me, i can start on the plenum next week then.

What about this 1/2 for the ft lbs wrench ? The reviews on these cheap harbor freight wrenchs arent that great.. PPL say they dont click and they end up overtightening bolts. Oh and what other tools will i need for the plenum, i believe i will need something to remove the fuel line on the fuel rail correct ? What else ?
