Thanks Shooptube. Awesome. Love the video link. Ya know the picture is worth a thousand word thing. Glad I could help on the clips. Like I said saw them and did not have a clue. Just emailed the link to myself thinking they might come in handy someday. Now I just have to figure out if I want them. Thinking you actually wheel your Jeep, as opposed to me (remember old, days over, still gotta own a Jeep though) just a DD, and like the guy said in the video catch them once on something and they are toast.
I try to avoid branches when I wheel so they don't mess up my paintjob

Got it. Ya know the list gets longer and longer for the Jeep stuff I keep my eye out for on Craigslist and the boneyards. Kinda thought once I stopped wheeling and breaking crap that would stop too. Now I look for factory parts to upgrade the Sport. Someday I will find those '97-'01 factory running boards I want.

I just dont understand why you want them? They trap moisture and cause rust.

How's this for stupid. I need to apologize to a bunch of people for asking about those damn drip rail covers. Especially Shoop. I was just outside smoking a cigarette, yes I know so bad, and noticed that I had the curve in the rain gutter around my windshield like in the video. Went and took a closer look. I have the drip rails covers on my Jeep. In black. Same color as the Jeep. I just assumed it was part of the roof. Now I want to know what it looks like under there. Any rust and whatnot. I guess this is all for the best though. Because part of the paint issues I have are surface rust on the roof. The guy I will probably have do the work might want to take them off. And now I know I can buy new clips.

All that is under there is the roof pinch seam. It should not be rusty due to the factory cover. Will post a picture of mine without it here in a second.

They have some hard to find stuff...
Have heard nothing but bad things about them.
What's the story with them?

Long story short, they used to be great, then some foreign company bought them out and raised the hell out of the prices. They're terrible about actually shipping stuff out and basically have zero customer service.

Yeah, during the last Cherokee build I used them... They got 3 out of 4 orders wrong and it took them 2 tires to correct one of them. Customer service was sub par. That selection of hard to find parts though! This time I stuck with Quadratec and the Jeep parts system for the most part.
