Not bad. I have 4.56's. And haven't noticed it. However. I have a tire carrier waiting on my frame stiffeners to be installed then it'll be in the back.RedJeepster1 said:How's the gas mileage with the tire up there? I had a 31 on my roof for about 6 hours and couldn't do it anymore. Gas mileage dropped and the noise was awful.
Do you have a link for this? Looked around but couldn't find one that looked the same!

Hows the throttle body look? You cleaned it recently?Got the o2 sensor in the 96 yesterday. Still idles ****ty. Idles WAY better than it did with the old one plugged in, but about the same as it did with it disconnected. Still need to get the radiator replaced so I can see if it still bogs out and runs like garbage over 45 like it did before.
Do you have a stabilizer on that steering?Last night with the boggers.
However if I don't get this bumpsteer fixed soon I'll be selling this.

I'm hoping it helps. I'm not enjoying driving my jeep at all. I'm going to some 33x12.50 duratracs. As well as I have a Rustys over the knuckle trackbar & bracket to install.chris87xj said:I'm curious how much effect removing the boggers will have.
Admittedly a stabilizer could band aid the problem enough to make it bearable. I stick to my guns that its an issue with geometry. Take something straight and use it to measure the angle bolt to bolt on the track bar and the tie rod. I hope you can get it fixed though! Your xj is looking sweetLast night with the boggers.

I won't ever bandaid a issue. I just gotta make it somehow bearable to drive the 80 miles round trip on backroads to work.ivester1992 said:Admittedly a stabilizer could band aid the problem enough to make it bearable. Originally had a CEL for misfireson all 6 cylinders. Seafoamed it and they'd go away temporarily. Cleaned the TB and IAC, did nothing. Unplugged the downpipe o2 and it idles way less ****ty and the CELs went away. No change from that and its still right but better than it originally was. Guessing either clogged cat or injectors at this point.Hows the throttle body look? You cleaned it recently?
Try banging on the cat while it is idling with a screwdriver or ratchet. See if you hear anything loose in there or if the idle changes.Originally had a CEL for misfireson all 6 cylinders. Both times I had a cat clog or go bad. First one it refused to let the jeep go faster than 30. It had a loud whining noise. 2nd one I had a rattling from the inside going bad and breaking free.shooptube said:Try banging on the cat while it is idling with a screwdriver or ratchet.
