I'm looking at either a CRD Grand, or a 2012 Wrangler.

 I thought it looked wrong...You mean Traitor???
Instead , you might think about tossing a big handful of these in the wheel(s) :rerouted the winch wires to the battery, after class I'm heading to America's tire to get my km2's rebalanced since all of the stick on wheel weights fell off:shhh:
I've never heard of this before... wow that's interesting!pdcomm said:Instead , you might think about tossing a big handful of these in the wheel(s) :
I run them in my motorcycle tires and have run them in tires on a Dodge Dakota I use to have . Work great . Never out of balance .
Here's a comparison shot . The BBs on the left are NEW and the silver BBs on the right are what the NEW BBs look like after 20,000 miles in the tire .
Not to be a prick but those look not the greatest. Be sure and clean the area your going to be welding. Look like flux core which is even more fun. Good luck. They are picks of the floor pan welds I'm working on
Glad I could help .I have heard of that! I just need something to stay, I don't like the ones pressed onto the outer lip of my wheels, but the ones they stick on the inside just don't seem to stay put after driving.. you may have just posted what I needed! thanks![]()
Yup bada**. I will look into those also. SWEET!pdcomm said:Glad I could help .![]()
If its not too bad a little Bed liner or rubber undercoat on the bottom of the body above the export will help. But I agree by the gas tank look dangerous.csouers said:Put my custom-cut tailpipe on and went to the lake with my girlfriend. On the way back, we noticed some funny smells. Get back to the garage, open the hatch to get our cameras out and I something burning. The carpet feels oddly warm so I pull it up and see black. Turns out the exhaust is burning the floor, insulation, and carpet. Looks like I gotta pull that tailpipe and weld on some more pipe to push it down to the ground. Here's to hoping that I didn't melt my gas tank.
Photographic proof.
I've heard of using the plastic airsoft BB's, but never actual metal ones. I'd be worried they'd eventually rub a hole in the tire.Instead , you might think about tossing a big handful of these in the wheel(s) :

I have to ask , what , other than weight , do you think the difference between plastic BBs and "actual metal" BBs would be ?I've heard of using the plastic airsoft BB's, but never actual metal ones. I'd be worried they'd eventually rub a hole in the tire.
The only difference I would see would be potential wear.I have to ask , what , other than weight , do you think the difference between plastic BBs and "actual metal" BBs would be ?
Not to worry . After that 20,000 miles , the inside of the tire looked like new . I inspected the tire immediately after it was removed from the rim . That's when I took some of the BBs out ( the silver BBs on the right side of the pic below ) . There wasn't even any tire 'dust' in there .
