My jeep is NOT STREET LEGAL. Since it is an OFFROAD only vehicle I run an APN header with just a glasspack and a turndown. I get compliments all the time on how it sounds.

Put the wheel well liners back in. Got tired of how seeing how much crud got stuck inside the front fenders when hosing them out. Also got bored and took the taillight guards off at work to get rid of the rust and repaint them. And on my lunch break I went down the street to O'Reilly's to get new struts for the hatch, now instead of it falling down on my head it almost smacks me in the face when I open it

Finished my front recovery point. Real pain, definitely looks like I made it in the middle of the night, HA! But, Im confident that it is safe, and perfectly functional. Didn't get to taking off the sway bar links.. May cut them off when we get there tomorrow.

So ...

That's no excuse . I switched out my water pump in the driveway . Out in the elements , in low light no less .
I too have done this. In the rain and about 35 degrees out. Also on a transverse mounted engine which allowed me the pleasure of laying down in the mud to get to some bolts.

Repairs can be done anywhere. It just depends how bad that repair needs to be done.

Very true. Plus i would like to start doin my own repairs, It makes hard to pay somebody to do a repair im pretty sure i can do but usually due to time i cant have my xj down for a long time, and my luck only runs the bad kind.

You learn alot doing your own repairs and upgrades. And I completely understand using a mechanic for times sake. I've got a truck in the shop right now just because I couldn't make enough time to work on it.

Having problems fitting a '93 face/grill on my 1989 Cherokee ....

they seem to be shaped a little different
- and the screw holes don't like up, I mean I can drill new holes. I ground down bumps on back...
Had anyone dealt with this???
GRrrrrr!!!

..Also, powder-coated the ring that holds the light to adjuster assy, then painted the bulb (like some of you like to)
check it:

What do yall think about the skyjacker trackbar? I just bought one.
Isn't the time to ask opinions BEFORE you purchase something? I replied to your other thread about this. It is known to come loose, and there are better designs for the same/lower price out there.

I'd weld that bracket in place if I was going to use it.

After reading about the design and installation and reviews, I chose NOT to purchase one last year that FS new in the classifieds here.

Same here. Ran an open header for about a week after I put the new cylinder head in. Sounded bad *** but insanely loud.

Lucky for me I work at a car dealership, so unless something is just blatantly obviously wrong with the Jeep it's going to pass a state inspection. :D
