for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

Oh yes, on board welder...the ultimate trail repair tool. Forgot about that.

As simple as 2 batteries, jumper cables, and some welding rod...lol
Really? 12, or 24 volts,
Just clamp and weld.
Does it have to be 2 Batteries?

--> Hooked together parallel or in series ??? - (Parallel=12v more Amps, or Series=24v less Amps)

What kind of welding rod do you use??? - :welder:

I'm not sure what it sounds like outside but it sounds great in the cab. If you want it to sound meaner to the Civic that you are dusting at a stop light then I would go with exhaust.

But my intake wasn't too expensive and very easy to install.
Haaha yeahh do u have any ideas on exhaust ?

My exhaust was pretty new when I bought the Jeep so I haven't really looked at it. I'm sure someone on here has some pretty good ideas though.

Thanks, mate!
I installed the Spectre Intake today. This thing definitely sounds mean in the cab at wide open throttle!! I like it!

Shiny!

Whatever shall I do with all this new found space...

I'm thinking OBA (On Board Air, for the noobs) :highfive:
make sure you clean that filter after every trail ride. its too small and gets clogged too easily.

you should install these http://www.tntcustoms.com/Jeep_Cherokee_XJ/High_Clearance_Inner_Fender_Panels.aspx

you need 24v to run a welder. so you need to wire the batteries in series.

It is definitely a bit small, I will keep an eye on it, thanks for looking out.

Those fender liners are interesting but I don't have too many problems with tire clearance usually. I want to take this thing up at least another 1.5 inches but I will probably stick with the 31's that I have for right now.

I know a number of people running that kit, this is what one guy's looked like after about 350 miles

:eyebulge: That's ugly! Was he missing the screen on the cowl vent? I took my cowl cover off and it was just dusty in there, no debris or anything.
that one is in a renix comanche, I don't think they have screens... but most of the other guys I know have theirs get stuck with dirt.
I got my Transmission cooler installed today; just in time to go pick up 3 ricks of firewood too.

I found out the hard way that my floorboard was rusted so i replaced it. Easier said than done though lol.
Was supposed to pick up my cherokee on the way home but the guy still hasnt found the title. He said he would or he will order a new one soon.

Pounded the crap out of Scampy on an almost virgin trail - The Loop @ Quinn near Caligogie, ON

Last picture is me winching myself up the same shot as the 2nd. Greasy pine muck after a few days rain. Trees behind me gave me some new sheet metal dings and a cracked tail light mount.

I redid my drum brakes earlier this summer and I definitely want to to do a disc conversion on mine as well. I haven't decided if I want to go the JY route or save for the upgrade from Quadratec.

Gear oil is such a distinctive and unpleasant odour.

Leaky axle seal, pinion, or cover.

Hopefully it's just the cover - isn't as much of a project.
