seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

Finally replaced my destroyed drive belt. Idk how it hasn't just snapped. Looks like it wasn't changed since 89. Haha. PITA by the way. Those 3 bolts for tension SUCK!
On an 89 xj there is one long bolt under the power steering pump for tension that is fairly simple to deal with...idk what you were doing lol

As for my XJ I sprayed bed liner on the rockers, fenders, bumper caps, grille, head light bezels, sprayed rubberized undercoating in the wheel wells and a bit of the unders, and painted my rims. Looks alot better than before i think it turned out pretty good.

Port matched intake manifold, sent it to ceramic coated Aluminum. Should be back in a couple days. ;)

I just did my intake and exhaust for my stroker. The exhaust took forever there was an insane amount of material that had to be removed to port match. Some of the ports where off as much as 3/32.
Found a way up the levee took some pics including Mt Baker (yes it's still covered with snow as of today)

Vey nice!!!!
I got energetic and changed the fluid in both differentials. They were blacker than terry crews.
Hey O!! N20 Jeep, this is 94xjsport94 from CF!! Nice nice... love your bumper and your build thread...
MBTahoe Don't be lazy.

Take off the bumper and brackets then take a 6" x 20" piece of paper and do a rubbing on the passenger side.

It takes 5 minutes and then you transfer to 1/4" plate and drill. Or buy them from a vendor.
Put in my Rockford Fosgates. I couldn't get them in the rear hatch originally so I was going to use some old 6" box speakers I had from years and years ago. Put those in and they were no good anymore (they were like 20 years old lol) so I put the RF's in the box. They're 4x6s instead of 6" round but they still work fine in there. Plus with the covers over them you can't tell they're nice speakers which is nice since I leave the doors off so much.

I'm in the middle of putting my new headliner back in right now. Removed the dome light so it sags in teh middle now a bit, but oh well.

Hopefully going to get my fog lights on the roof later this afternoon as well.
Got a new axle today.

Washed it, tried to flex a little with the sway bar still attached. Gunna grab a bite to eat then start taking the bumper off.

^^^^Good choice I notched out and didn't grab the one hole where the fender support is - it was too tight to slip behind it.

Disregard that question, I over thought it. One bolt down. 7 to go

you have my attention....
Not exactly perfect, but it looks a hell of a lot better than the 20+ year old fiberglass. Still putting the molding back in. I am a little mad that it sags in the middle (the entire board) without the dome light though. It's good enough for me. If I was cleaner overall I'd have done a much better job, but I just wanted to throw something back in that looked decent. Material is black denim.

Add some ribs on the back side of the board, just some 1/8in x 1in aluminum flat bar, the full width and bent to contour

Right around $30 but I bought about a yard more than I actually needed. 3 yards would have been plenty.

Too late now. I'm not taking the damn thing back out.

It's really only sagging towards teh back so it will just suck for whoever sits in the back seat. Sucks to be them. Worst case scenerio I'll run a washer and self tapping screw through it to the roof. I'll never see it so it won't bug me lol
