it would be fine if you actually knew anything...

it would be fine if you actually knew anything...Thank you sir, finally someone who understands my approach.
I'm always eager to help in any way I can. But will turn on you in a heartbeat.

torx alone = not a fan at allor perhaps not. I forgot about the stupid torx bolts and all my torx bits are in my storage unit and they're closed for the weekend because of the holiday. :brickwall
Guess I'll put my rear speakers in along with my amp and sub.
I can't wait to hear how it does, do you know the specs on it?Showtime3492 said:This thread cracks me up.
A lot on the plate today going to finish welding on the removable crossmember just adding two gussets and final welding in transmission mount plate. Then I'm totally finishing the engine install and gonna try to start it up to put it through the break in process today.
tons of specs...I can't wait to hear how it does, do you know the specs on it?
Very nice! Who built it?Showtime3492 said:tons of specs...
4.6
258 crank and rods
new cam factory (opted for reliability over additional power)
.030 over bore
15.5 cc dished pistons
block decked with a deck clearance of .024
quench of .0725
static compression ratio of 9.45
dynamic compression ratio of 8.14
In short about 245hp 320torque *approx* at the crank
I know with the 258 it'll go to a 4.6, but what will the .030 bore take it to final displacement?Showtime3492 said:tons of specs...

Oh my what was the final dollars you put in to it? That sounds so yummy I can't imagine the i6 after already being a block of torqueShowtime3492 said:tons of specs...

you must be new here.Lol that's a bad image for an xj owner, we're all supposed to help eachother out man. C'mon now.
I'm sorry, my computer doesn't allow me to read cry baby. But you do do a little too much bashing IMO.You have o understand you are running a put together lift with stock gears and a busted up rear end, once you are sitting on those bigger axels and tires you speak of then I'll let you bash untill your heart is content. quit drinking your jeep money awaythe jeep looks good but let's see wheel at MS come on out
X10Go sign up on pirate and hang out there for awhile and then come back here and you will feel much better. No joke, do it. I have kicked back and surfed through the thread a few times and you talked about drinking and wheeling and granted, I will say you have finally been able to grasp the concept of typing out complete sentences and spelling out words rather than using that text abbreviation bull**** so I will give you that. Plus your jeep does look alot better now then back then. But still there is nothing wrong with a little bashing and I feel like back in black doesnt give you to much crap, you just take it worse than its really meant to be. If you ever join an actual wheeling club, you will thank me for this later.
one day will be the best of friends.it would be fine if you actually knew anything...

I get my *** handed to me often by local jeepers.
but you don't see me crying about it. Its actually my favorite way to learn.
Well i got a good deal on my machine work cuz it took 4 months to do it :thumbdown:: ( i wish i had more thumbs to thumb down that) but the total for me AFTER i resold some stuff to recoupe a little money was $2600 thats with a whole bunch of new stuff included like alternator, starter, new clearwater cylinder heads non crack prone 0331 head, oil pan, water pump, timing set.. its probably a little more than that. but i sold some of the old stuff to get a few bucks back on it. effectively is i wasnt swapping it from a 98 into a 2000 it could be done for less than 1500...IF your smart and know how to shopOh my what was the final dollars you put in to it? That sounds so yummy I can't imagine the i6 after already being a block of torque
