seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

I'm gonna guess that a high percentage of xj owners in general are of the younger generations, whadda ya think?
My girlfriend's younger cousin bought a '00 XJ in MINT condition, by far the cleanest I've ever seen... Then T-boned a cop two weeks later.

I agree, they are cheap first vehicles and are fairly solid. I have my son lined up to be getting an XJ aswell :)
Depends on how old you are lol
okay, here's the poll. What age group are most Jeepforum XJ drivers?
I'm 27 and I own a xj and a parts xj (it was my first car I owned drove it hard and retired it when it got over 400000) but I also am building a 78 cj7
Loaded it up for a music festival and camping this weekend.
Installed an overhead console :)
Wire brushed the undercarriage to prep for chassis saver hopefully going on this weekend. Damn the rust in the northeast! Lol
Oh boy now you've gone and done it!
I hear KM2's has thin sidewalls and blow in mud:teehee:

Detailed mine and did some touch up painting on the rims. Had to switch out the mudders (not enough tread) to some weak A/Ts last week :( There only temporary until I can find a good deal on some more mudders. I tried wheeling it with the A/T's and it was dissapointing. I NEED MUDDERS! The rims got scratched up from being broken off and remounted so touched that up, and detailed it from where it had gotten dirty wheeling.
Nice looking' rig. Amen on the mudders, they're just so expensive!

Your stoking the fire!! Ain't ya?! Lol
Ordered a set of JCR Offroad Ultimate Sliders. Also ordered a driver's side airbag cover from a '98 TJ as the final piece of getting it back on the road. The 3.5" mix/match lift is soon to be replaced with a RC 4.5".
