Illegal, or out of your league? I've taken my XJ plenty of places I shouldn't have made it, but I always went with friends, knew when to use a bypass/get winched, asked for a spotter.
Are you willing to accept body damage? Can you afford to replace parts? Do you have any skid plates? Do you have proper recover points both front and rear?
Have fun, take pictures, go slow, learn your limits.

Drove it for the first time since i got my 3" inch lift on it. Set up an appointment for an alignment tomorrow morning. Picked up an audio cable for my Cb's PA siren

I did a driveway alignment after doing my V8 ZJ tie rod & after doing my lift. IMHO, that's wasted money on an XJ that can only have toe adjusted.
As long as your wheels are toed in like 1/16" - 1/8" you're good.

What is the proper way to put D rings on a bumper. I'm not building a winch bumper but I want to have some D rings up there for recovery and all. Just trying to draw up plans but I'm a bit in educated

just finished getting my coil springs put back in there little hole that holds the tips. Didnt know you had to do that until i had already installed my whole lift

Do you think it looks weird with only the front ones off?
Also love that color. its not factory is it? almost like the military jeep green. match that color for the wheels. itd be tight
