seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

Had a guy come look at it, thinking bout selling it but im pretty sure hes right around the $1500 without my roof rack. Jumped on cl and my local 4x4 boards to find that there isnt much to replace it with thats half decent. Most cherokees in my area are whooped and have well over 210xxx miles and are asking in the $3000 range. People are crazy! But i did get a compliment from a guy with a rubi who said my xj was nice lol
I think i got to step 8 of my lift kit install. lol

The axle wont drop all the way for me to remove the spring coil and add in the 3 inch spacer for that matter!

Trying to get my hands on an air gun wrench so i can remove the LCA's and hopefully drop the axle farther
Picked up 5 of these today to mount to my 32s. No more Eccos!

you can always compress the spring.....I normally remove the shocks, and sway bar and leave the lca's, just jack the opposite side of the axle up to get it to drop far enough. You may have to undo the lca's to get the spacer and spring in tho.

just loosen the UCA and LCA bolts (all 8 bolts), remove the drag link and trackbar, unbolt the calipers, and unbolt shocks. it will drop out plenty.
3" spacers :0
Rear hatch wasn't opening. Found a thread on here with a walk-thru and pictures, had my hatch fixed in a hour. Also put a bottle jack under my exhaust to push it up a bit so it quit rattling against the cross-member...I think I'm gonna miss that rattle though
Drove it to work. And the new girlfriend asked me last night when we were going to take it mudding. And agreed that I should, in fact paint it grabber green!! And she can cook! Can you say KEEPER?!!!!!!

Finished off the last of the rear brake work last night. Was able to drive it to work this morning.
I lubed up the door locks in attempts to make my rear passenger doors lock/unlock by the door lock module. One side was successful. The other side just makes noise and doesn't move. :(
Locked the rear w/ the install of an Aussie! :)
