What suspension are you going with.Almost pulled the trigger on some km2s instead o went with dunlop mud rovers 33x12.50x15 I order in the morbid and should be here in about 3 days =D finally

bump it up to max volume, and hopefully youll fry one of those little mofosfound a mouse nest (i think) in the headliner between the rear speakers... think that may be the reason y my interior lights wont go out and y my rear speakers dont work?
RC 3" series 2, sky jacker bushings and longer shocks. What I lose un up travel I will gain in down travel.(eventually long arms) I will replace the rear with full packs soon after the AAL is under the jeep. I backed out at the last second because I saved just a little to put toward my full packs. The mud rovers have really good road manners and I have 2 friends that run them on jeeps and love them, the dad had a set on a Willis and they were nice so it's a win win, they clean themselves really well. That's the biggest reason I went with them, surprisingly I got allot of mixed emotions about the km2sDurt_Diver said:What suspension are you going with.

True. The km2s just look sexy.rugsucka said:I didn't even consider KM2's for my tire upgrade.
I had 235 Duraflats - very good in snow/ice/rain but I sidewalled them very easily with a branch.
I had 31" MTR's - old tread - very tough, good wearing on road, POS in ice/packed snow, decent in mud, took a beating and now sold to a friend for his KJ (I know...)
I now have 33" MT MTZ's - so far I'm very happy - ran a clay/mud/rock combo set of trails for my lift shake down and I'm convinced I made a good choice - I also know a few ppl with them and winter was OK - for the tire it is.
Buddy in the Jeep Club I run with once in a while has a ZJ w. 35" Dunlop Mud Rovers - they do quite well, but he also beats his rig like a rented mule. He's the 2nd owner and the wear like iron according to him.
I have a co-worker w. KM2's on their Ranger. Lives on a privately maintained road, and does not like them in the packed snow or ice at all. Not really a problem for FLA, but prefers the BFG AT's the truck had before.
Doesn't wheel them, but another dude locked front and rear puts his KM2's to work and does well.
Driver is better than Tire most of the time.
Kraal era are my next tire, or max is creepys.2doorxj said:Uh oh, im about to start a tire debate.... Hands down the MTR/k is the best all around tire for someone that drives their jeep on road in all conditions (dry, wet, snow, ice) that also performs great offroad. The sidewalls on these tires are damn near indestructable, i have many wheeling trips on my 35s, and they have been BEATEN in pointy rocks, no damage at all to the sidewalls. They stick like glue to rocks and work awesomely in mud. The km2 on the other hand has a much weaker sidewall, ive seen numerous wheeling pictures with slit km2s, ive even seen it happen in person. That being said, ive owned 3 sets of mtrk, and one set of km2s, as you can tell i like the goodyears better.
I would like to try out BFG Krawlers next.
I heard allot of good and bad about the km2s, even if they might be better I have experience with them so I trust them, I did want mtr Kevlar's looked at them amd allot of reviews said the Kevlar breaks down at 20k and they go to ****Back_In_Black said:you had mixed emotions about the km2s, so you went with dunlop mud rovers???
interesting logic.
why not consider mtr kevlars or even duratracs?
I have the Goodyear Duratracs and they did just as well my buddies BFG KM2s. The Duratracs are quieter on the road too.In the tire debate, I am seriously considering Dick Cepek Mud Country. I have heard really good reviews about them.
Personally, I have had great luck with the Gen2 BFG Mud Terrains which were on my 88XJ.
As far as today, I drove my XJ to work for the first time.Runs like a champ so far. See how it does after the first full tank of fuel has been ran thru it.
