seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

Today we put on a 3-4" lift. Decided we didn't like how it rode and took it all back off.
Before getting to the clutch job on the bike I installed a new cigaret lighter. That's about it. Nice to have a working power port again!

^^^^ why not just break the 'vent' window glass and unlock it if you didn't have a slim jim?
It's not like you're planning on keeping the thing if you cut the cab to remove a window anyways.

Honestly - mutilating a Comanche for that? People have been shot for less! Nice red MJ BTW.
Found the wiring issue in my rear speaker harness - I pinched a wire against the body and cut the jacket grounding it when I reassembled the panels. All better now. Haven't had sound in 2 weeks.
cleaned all the **** out of my jeep
nice red MJ sans rear window...
Trimmed and put this on not sure if I like it and it will probably be replaced with the door trim by tomorrow night

Didn't get to john bull, but we did to holcomb and dishpan springs
So this weekend was great. I had a goal of getting the exhaust on an that's what was completed on Sat, I tach'd it up an the exhaust shop fully welded it. Which allowed me to run it thru the paces on the way to the mountains to go Shooting.

No damage to report (which in this case is plus) an the logging roads seems to have loosened some of the kinks out of it.

Does anyone know if removing the second O2 should throw the Check Engine Light? I have ran about 85 miles so far with no light as of yet. Need to purchase the O2 bung from summit racing, an have that welded behind the cat.

This thing sounds great.

interior lights wont go out... pulled all 4 door switches, lights still on. disconnected every plug on rear hatch, lights still on. pulled headlight switch, lights still on. (yes the light switch is off) got a short somewhere. guess would be back pass door or lift gate since it happened when i started to load my XJ and opened those 2 doors and when i shut them the lights stayed on... ugh. any ideas on where to look for a short first? for now i just pulled the lights out so i dont kill my batt.

Holcomb has gotten very hard at the beginning. A couple large boulders are at the entrance, sort of like a giant speed bump. Dishpan wasnt too bad, there are a lot of spots that are dug out though on the waterfall

i have keys...lol...i couldn't get the knife inbetween the window/frame..
i haven't posted pics of the unibody/front axle/floor or whats left of that area....
its my parts truck...

thanks
just a bit of southern ontario chop busting..
Sent a money order out to a member on here for some 2" rear shackles.

Also got the bracing all measure out for the tire carrier and picked up a couple new blades for my chop saw. I'd like to get it finished up (minus the hardware) tomorrow but it'll probably end up happening over the weekend instead.

Super stoked on it, but also kinda bummed I still have to wait til I swap cylinder heads to even get them on. The wait is killing me but on the other hand within a day I can have it lifted on 32s with the rear bumper and tire carrier on.
found a mouse nest (i think) in the headliner between the rear speakers... think that may be the reason y my interior lights wont go out and y my rear speakers dont work?
