seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

I put my center console back in the Jeep.
And updated my axle swap thread that seems to be turning into a build thread as well.

Cut out and welded in the passenger side 2x6 rocker.

I'm tired - 4hrs sleep last nite, and I'm up by 730 4 1/2hrs from now.

I'll get crackin' on the driver side tomorrow nite - probably another late one - Sunday I want to prep and paint - dry and sunny in the forcast.

Grainy mobile pics and I won't apologize for the underside welds - First job ever on a mig.

^^ probably just a generic light you can get from checker or wally world

Notice the yellow light on the rear?
Notice under his user name it says "right hand drive XJer"?

I'm guessing he delivers mail for a living, and bought a European model XJ to get right hand drive. Those markers came standard on XJs over there.

all tha work than ya put GTX in it.....

At this point you should be running a HDEO like Rotella T-5, and possibly a ZDDP additive for the brake in period.

In the nineties RHD Cherokees were exported to Japan for private use. a few years ago a couple of companies like www.japanpdximports.com started to purchase low mileage Cherokees and bring them to the states for postal workers.

Got her running!

I had to replace the fuel pump on my Sport............full tank of gas of course. :brickwall

It's sure nice to have her back........been down since Monday morning.

Stripped the carpet back out, prepping to repair the rust in the cargo area. did some other minor repairs.

Yes, additives are in, and for first 500 miles, gtx will do, and last I checked, even zddp additive makers do not recommend synthetic oil for break in... Just saying...

this is true ....
(T5 is a syn-blend) but there is always triple T from Rotella in 10-30.
