seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

WTF, got back from mission and found out this guy sold axles he promised to hold for me. I had sent my friend the money to pay him and he and my friend had even set up a date to pick them up, And he sells them to someone else.

Thanks for the input. I think I like them from the bar as well.

As for room on the bumper, I do have plenty of it in front of the grill. It's strange how the '96 seems to be so much different than all the rest. Jeep must have hired a new engineer that year...and then fired him after production.

Took it to the lake yesterday. On the way there on a 2 lane road, a guy in a silverado decided he wanted to pass the guy on front of him right when I'm getting close to them. Pulls onto my lane and runs me off the road as we're both going 60-70mph because he was so dedicated to pass. I really hate stupid drivers...

Fixed my broken E-Brake cable and went ahead and changed the rear brakes. One of the adjusters was completely seized. I had to heat it up to get it apart so I could grease it.

I installed my Rigid fabrication sliders !

I love how the bottom of the slider is flush with the bottom of the pinch rail

That sucks man. Sounds like you wouldn't want to but axles from a prick like that anyway
