seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

Paid more on my loan principal. I now only owe 197 dollars on it.
Motor is finally starting to give. Right during Tax returns! :) Now comes the decision rebuild it and make it a 4.2L or drop a small block 350 in it. Hmmm decisions decisions...

Also got this sweet tire cover at work. Will cover up to a 33" tire. With my employee discount $25 bucks.

Drove home on icy roads, didn't need 4wd. The power of Jeeps, when everyone is freaking out of the roads, you don't even need 4wd.
Replaced my garbage AutoPAL H4 conversions with new Cibie H4s and high-watt bulbs (still need to do the harness, got all the parts)

Your autopals look different then mine. Mine were clear. Oh, and that harness upgrade is amazing the difference it will make.

Mine "were" clear too. That's what they became after a few years. Couldn't see anything. If it was night and raining I was essentially drive with my lights off.

The glass discolored a bit but is still clear, no tint. The major discoloration is the rear reflecting surface, it disintegrated, you can see the bottom and just above where the bulb goes, the reflector is now basically rusty and not-reflective.

I've been meaning to do that on mine.
went to the junk yard and found some working rear hatch struts...if i had more cash i would have gotten a lot more xj ' s all over the place
Penndot always ignores the small roads around us.
Watched people creeping along on the big roads and ignoring the unplowed side roads.
Laughed, kicked it into 4hi, and turned right onto a snow covered road and went on my way.
Today on the east coast jeeps ruled the roads.
Well jeeps always rule the road but especially today.
