for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

did my ujoint (and ball joints) a few days ago, found the easiest way to press them out of the shafts

Hydraulic punch FTW

But as for today i scored a set of WJ knuckles with the Akebono caliper brackets, 70$
Nice!, makes it so easy with tools like that.

I went to Harbor Freight today and picked up this cheapo 12 Ton Press. Sure beats the &*^% out of a bumper mounted vise!

I learned today that my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, does not have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport front differential.
It's something from the years 84 to 95. Makes getting parts difficult when you ask for a specific year and it doesn't fit. :-\

So you tell them its a 95 when ordering parts...the high pinion Dana 30 is better than the one that originally came in your 2000 anyway

Well yeah, but I didn't know this before hand. Multiple trips to parts store including the Jeep dealer. I thought it was the differential that came with the Jeep. lol
Anywho, now I know, so it's all good. :highfive:

No you didn't. That's not welding; that's goobering. :D Practice, practice, practice...
Your 2000 did come with a lp 30 from the factory. They started throwing them in after the 99 model.
new rear brake drum cylinder, new extended brake line from a dodge ram 1500, replaement dipstick, replacement batteryy 850cca

Not bad for self taught with a 90 dollar welder

I went wheeling,

Jeep broke, had it towed home

what broke?
Idk the hub seems loose but the pass tire also doesnt look right. Looks canted way too much.

It is making a god awful clunking grinding sound from the pass frotn tire. No brake pressure but i see no leaks.
Painted my riddler cover installing tomorrow.

destroyed wheel bearing it sounds like, that would explain the lack of brake pressure and grinding noise

Yea and the tire is slighly more canted on that side.

Thats what i was leanign towards, because the hub has play in it. Just thought i would have noticed it ont he trail more.
