IMO a 4.0L is no match for 40" tires. Having 5.13 gears and 35s, I can't imagine what you need to run 40s.

I agree with the 40s...

Ive been absent awhile so forgive me for repeat info but what axles are you turning 5.13s in?

Edit: just scrolled up and saw "Rubicon"...so I'm assuming Rubi D44s ?
