thought intensely about a paint job. the front end has thousands of chips from the highway. idk if i should keep her chili pepper red, or go yellow or black....

Well when your dad has done bodywork for as long as you can remember its cheap. haha all i paid for was paint. but at a shop that would have cost me a arm and a leg haha

Well I ended up buying an Eagle SX/4 Now known as "SX/290" as I decided to put my AMC-290 V8 into the Eagle instead if the Comanche . . . Have I given up project "AMC-MJ" ? ? ?

Nope not even close, MJ is now getting an AMC-343 instead

Freed the body from the axle and suspension. Now to start cutting the body up and make a scrap run this weekend or next.

Took my XJ to my buddy to replace an axle ujoint at his new job. Apparently, once they pulled the shafts, they realized that the stock size ujoint wouldn't fit because my axle shafts are thicker than stock xj dana 30 shafts? So, unfortunately, we had to special order the right size, and there the XJ sits until Monday....

First time I've gotten a GOOD "mod" from the previous owner. LOL

burned in a couple rear floor pan patches, posted pics of it in my build thread for the xj. tomorrow, might do the front seat floor pan patch, depends if i find an extension cable for the cutting wheel,

possibly ordering engine, lift kit, wheel adapters, and new clutch, within next 2 weeks,
