for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

yea an exo cage is in my future plans but for now lets keep 3 wheels on the ground ...
My clutch stopped working yesterday morning (the pedal didn't just go soft - it had zero resistance with a "full" reservoir). The brakes were good and the fluid level didn't drop while sitting there so I figured that meant it was more likely the slave cylinder than the master or a leak.

So last night I'm under the jeep and I asked my helper to put some extra fluid in the reservoir and give a couple clutch pumps to see if I could see bubbles, foam or no movement coming from the slave. Didn't think to look at the giant "hole" created by an absent gasket where the line connects to the slave cylinder 8 inches up-line.

So there I was with a shop light, a mirror (the slave cylinder is internal) with my head right next to said gasket. Anyway - I got a full on Dot-3 bath there in my garage. It didn't taste too bad actually (if you've never had the experience) - but it burns the eyes, ruins goggles, and smells bad when burned by an exploding light bulb. :hahaha:

Its fixed now.
I think the starter is going in her. Really bogging when starting.

Clean up the cables, and grab a spare from the junkyard just in case. It sucks when the starter goes out in a tight spot. :/
Past couple of days I put on my new durango 4x4 rear bumper, bought a hi lift, stock shackles and put a new vent window

i have a feeling it may just be the connections. I'm gonna check it this weekend. gonna clean everything up in the engine bay
My lube locker gaskets arrived, and I bought some gear oil, and engine oil. I forgot to get a filter though, so I guess Ill just do the axles tomorrow, and the engine later.

Man, I have a number of stories like that...lol. Nothing like the exploding light bulb to make things interesting! I actually switched from the Extreme Service lights to Compact Fluorescent for my Trouble Light. Dropped in, sprayed it, spilled on it, same bulb for 3 years! Dot 3 proof too.

Had this issue a number of years ago. Went to the parts store, got a new ground and positive leads, replaced both cables and the terminal ends, started like a new car. Old cables can build up a resistance and the copper corrodes in the cable from oxygen contamination over time. They turn to poo over time.

Just a thought.

Me, finally got my new tires installed today. Man, she looks like a proper beast now!! Hankook Dynapro MT FTW!

Pics later.
Just came from harbor freight, spent $150 on an air compressor, hose, gun, etc to paint my XJ.
yup... and no one likes a premature surprise...

drove to and from welding school!! I really S**k!!
removed front fenders, they will not be going back on. removed bumper for paint, put a new bolt in my track bar drop bracket and track bar. mounted my ammo-can center consol as well.

Well it could be that too. Honestly it was good and then went mudding and almost got stuck in a huge hole and now its doing this so i dont know..
drove it home from work and loaded it up with parts im gonna bring to IRO tomorrow.
drove to work, went through every puddle i could get my wheels in... 15 min drive ended up taking an hour... had to detour to get to some of the puddles i went through... I love the rain

I'm assuming you're talking about welding, yeah, it takes a TON of practice to get good. Keep at it you'll get better. In about 2 years you'll be able to do it with your eyes closed(and have to sometimes!)

Started It for the first time in a month. Redoing my house foundation, eating up all my time and money, just like the jeep!
Removed front end and got the harness and accessories off the motor, hoping to get the motor out tomorrow and the new motor in saturday if it would only stop monsooning!!!!!
Well, I didn't do it today, but this past week I put the Jeep down the side of the house. I'll grab a picture of it when it's light out, it looks so lonely, fenced and gated in with no license plates.
I'll grab a junkyard tie rod (made a nice "U" shape out my new one already) and do the UCA and LCA bushings, maybe that will finally put an end to the death wobble - it's nearly taken me off the road too many times now and I don't feel like killing new wheel bearings.

Oh, and not to mention it's lacking a stereo, tools, my HiLift, my backpack full of belongings, because last month it got stolen right out of my driveway. RCMP recovered it and I had to pay $200 to get my own (now empty) Jeep back from the tow yard.

In the meantime I'm driving my other DD (but I want my Jeep back on the road):
