Rolling over is half the fun of wheelin!
yea an exo cage is in my future plans but for now lets keep 3 wheels on the ground ...Rolling over is half the fun of wheelin!
Clean up the cables, and grab a spare from the junkyard just in case. It sucks when the starter goes out in a tight spot. :/I think the starter is going in her. Really bogging when starting.
i have a feeling it may just be the connections. I'm gonna check it this weekend. gonna clean everything up in the engine bayClean up the cables, and grab a spare from the junkyard just in case. It sucks when the starter goes out in a tight spot. :/
Man, I have a number of stories like that...lol. Nothing like the exploding light bulb to make things interesting! I actually switched from the Extreme Service lights to Compact Fluorescent for my Trouble Light. Dropped in, sprayed it, spilled on it, same bulb for 3 years! Dot 3 proof too.My clutch stopped working yesterday morning (the pedal didn't just go soft - it had zero resistance with a "full" reservoir). The brakes were good and the fluid level didn't drop while sitting there so I figured that meant it was more likely the slave cylinder than the master or a leak.
So last night I'm under the jeep and I asked my helper to put some extra fluid in the reservoir and give a couple clutch pumps to see if I could see bubbles, foam or no movement coming from the slave. Didn't think to look at the giant "hole" created by an absent gasket where the line connects to the slave cylinder 8 inches up-line.
So there I was with a shop light, a mirror (the slave cylinder is internal) with my head right next to said gasket. Anyway - I got a full on Dot-3 bath there in my garage. It didn't taste too bad actually (if you've never had the experience) - but it burns the eyes, ruins goggles, and smells bad when burned by an exploding light bulb. :hahaha:
Its fixed now.
Had this issue a number of years ago. Went to the parts store, got a new ground and positive leads, replaced both cables and the terminal ends, started like a new car. Old cables can build up a resistance and the copper corrodes in the cable from oxygen contamination over time. They turn to poo over time.I think the starter is going in her. yup... and no one likes a premature surprise...
pics.removed front fenders, they will not be going back on. removed bumper for paint, put a new bolt in my track bar drop bracket and track bar. mounted my ammo-can center consol as well.
Well it could be that too. Honestly it was good and then went mudding and almost got stuck in a huge hole and now its doing this so i dont know..Had this issue a number of years ago. Just a thought.
