seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

Bought it. :2thumbsup:

Let the fun begin. Gotta work out a few bugs.
Changed the antifreeze, put in a new thermostat and topped it off with a new radiator cap. I also put in a flush kit in the heater hose and back flushed the system. I had to clean out all of the old "stop leak" stuff someone dumped into the overflow container as well.
Replaced the radiator hose and thermostat. The hose decided to blow up today. My fun for the day
Did the thermostat on Saturday and coming home from work today the upper radiator hose sprung a leak. Of course it was snowing while I changed it in the driveway. :(
Put in the Quadratec front and Husky rear floor mats that arrived Friday. :2thumbsup: I tried drying the damp carpet with a shop vac and heat gun but some moisture remains.

I also fixed the underhood light (it was missing the bulb :dunno:) and checked the plugs (look recently changed). Who thought up the "great" idea of coil packs on top of the plugs? It definitely took a little longer to check the plugs in the XJ than it does in the CJ.
New 3 core radiator and a fan clutch. Now all of my cooling system is new or recently replaced.
Oil change and alignment yesterday. New valve cover gasket today. Got half done and it started to drizzle.

Also took the CJ7 out for some fun only to discover the radiator is leaking.....bad.
Today I got to see how my XJ looked on a flat bed tow truck. :brickwall

....and I don't like it! I did get great gas mileage on the return trip home though. :cheers2:

What happened man?
I'm thinking a bad fuel pump. Here's more info: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/2000-xj-no-start-1357401/
Got her running!

I had to replace the fuel pump on my Sport............full tank of gas of course. :brickwall

It's sure nice to have her back........been down since Monday morning.
Changed the oil and gave her a bath.
Parked it in the street so I could take the topless CJ 7 out for a spin. :)
Drove it to work.............very glad the AC was working for the return trip home.
Finally washed off the layer of dust and mud from work.
Picked up some Krylon Fusion satin black spray paint in preparation of painting my door trim and bumper end caps. Yes, I'm keeping the molding, I like it.
Replaced the starter ........... in my neighbors 2000 MJ. My XJ was the parts runner. :D
