seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

I'm debating whether to pull off the top part of my heat shield or not.

it's loose enough to lift off by hand since the lower part crumbled and is long gone, but I'm worried about the heat melting the floor...
my moms galant has no heat shield and it doesnt get.

i just drove to work.looked for mysterious rattle
got a key cut. watched a black xj kill a cavlier bumper.went tire shopping

Loaded it up with my moms crafts at a show. Had to turn around and found a little mud, I wish it was more muddier though.

I am picking up some rims in a couple weeks, 4 stock rims for 50 dollars. Probably going to sandblast them (church member has a blaster, just have to buy the media material {how much does that run?} then trying to decide if I want to powder coat them or just rattle can them.

ugh why cant i find some.

I went to the jy to realize half of it was gone and the chrysler section is no more:(
drove to show. had a honda park under tow hitch at the red light
washed, found a spare with center cap + roof rack, realize i probally need a tps the hard way, bought a can of herculiner bedliner
Oh yeah, I took it through one of those auto wash things. I even got the "deluxe" wash with the undercarriage wash because it's all muddy. It got the Jeep mostly clean, but the rockers are still covered in mud, as well as the undercarriage. Guess I'll have to do the rest by hand.
i want do this.my friend works at a car wash and hasnt seen my jeep yet.
i posed by a stock and lowerd eclipse to see the difference when i lift it.
im stealing gas from my broken car.maybe take photos
cleaned it.and got a check engine light leavin the store. :(

if they used radar a judge basically has to throw it out for 4mph over, i have a good friend who is a traffic engineer and he was explaining how radar, even calibrated that morning, can read up to 5 mph off. granted if they used the laser then there is not much argument you can do but i would honestly be surprised if a judge wouldnt toss out a ticked for 4 over

good luck

also no dash is perfect. i read in some magazine a while ago they were all + or - 2mph
