seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.
for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.
Since we are talking about Gas MPG, Filled up today, I would say it was 50/50 driving. Internet site I track it on says I got 17mpg.
On the topic of what I did with my XJ today, hauled a mattress for a family member (he paid me 10 dollars and it probably cost me 5 to drive there and back).
Took off my drivers side door panel to see how hard it would be to replace my speakers. Since I seen how easy it is, that is on my list of items to do next. Probably go with Sony Explode 3 ways for now since they are only 30 each pair.
Car, a Chevy Malibu. Tried with hands.....no go. Tried with cheap strap wrench, didn't work. Settled for 5 dollar filter wrench.
Jeep is getting an oil change on Wednesday, but I am taking it to a shop and having the wheels balanced at teh same time. I have a bit of shake that I hope stops with a balance.
I haven't done anything with my Jeep since Sunday. I don't like letting the gas get below 3/4 without putting gas in. I normally only get gas at my work and we are getting new pumps put in. Also, Jeep has one working speaker that only works about 50% of what it should. Car has 4 good speakers, Ipod hook ups and good radio. I plan to drive it on Saturday, possibly if I don't go out of town.
Drove it, filled it up, got 19 mpg. I think I am going to replace the plugs soon, how hard is it to get the rear plug, it looked like a little tight, but I only looked at it for 5 minutes.
