seriously, one of these threads needs to stay alive in the XJ/MJ section and what better time to get a real one going then now with the creation of the XJ/MJ GD. now, lets keep this going.

for me, all i did today was take pictures of my newly cut front bumper.

picture a few posts down.

Last few days- topped off differentials, rewired fan switched so it works without the key, wheeled yesterday.

I have no idea.

People have been wheeling there for over 40 years, and the car is from the 70's.

It's destroyed.

Also- Painted my rocker, duplicolor bedliner. Great stuff, Looks awesome.

Yea, it's awesome.

And the dust comes right off with the hose.

I skimped a little sanding along the tape edge, and it flaked a little. :brickwall

But it looks great still.

Oh, and the total with 2 cans spray, sandpaper, and some other stuff was about 20 bucks. Cant beat it.

I did the tranny switch yesterday.

It was the wrong solenoid, so I need to switch it.

Thanks god for the complete FSM I found online.

Nicked my teeth up front for the first time the other day, good gouge in the paint. (An unforeseen rock.)

Also got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. But not my Jeep's teeth, my own. hahaha

I might buy a scan guage soon.

Just finished doing my transmission cooler.

As soon as I started it, I felt the cooler getting warm, so it works!

Filled the washer fluid with a hose.

Got a CEL because the fuel cap was loose. (My dad capped it last. )

I reallized that my brakes are really good right now.

They've bedded in really well after the 650 mile (round) trip to Humboldt co.

They easily lock the tires.

Fixed my front left speaker.
The green wire was completely cut.

Soldered it all back up, and re taped the hell out of everything.

Also trimmed my end caps a bit. Looks a lot better.

Wheeled at Hollister.

Lots of mud, rocks and dust.

My u joints may be on their way out.
