1 qt in 5000 miles, that's completely normal for just about any engine actually less than spec for a lot of engines
Cleaned mine out to get it ready to sell. How much would you sell it for.
Tree landed on it. Runs perfectly, its a shame it took a tree to kill it.

Depending on engine and condition you might get 750- 1000, I recently scrapped my daughter's 03 durango after she wrecked it, 4.7 liter 138k I had people standing in line for it at 500, sold it too cheap,

Yesterday actually, but I started tucking the evap system, I'll post photos when it's done,
Got my front shock and air bump mounts finished up and suspension cycled to double check clearance
That looks like good work 👍

I finished tucking my evap system, I did not completely relocate it but I gained a ton of clearance, i am not interested in hacking up the rig, I believe the work I have done front and rear will allow full clearance for 285/75/17 (34s) that's enough for me...

Question sir. What did you do to raise it up?
I took quite a few photos, I'll try and get to a write up shortly, it involves rotating the tank and shortening the lines in several places, installing a new support bracket, chopping the existing mounting plate etc etc etc, but it worked pretty well, lots of extra clearance

Got a write up posted today if anyone is interested:

finished installing the ashtray switch panel, contains the cat6 panel connections for the cb and the gsrm radio controls (radios are remote mounted under the rear seat) , switches for rock lights, a set of led back up lights, the power switches for the gsrm and the cb. I managed to scratch it while adjusting one mounting hole so I had to coat it black, a little dissapointing, but it came out ok, I'll find a replacement panel here shortly and take another stab at it. It wont take long to replace.

thanks, it looks better in person I think, the switches are actually pretty big, 22 mm, the push button portion is 16 mm, you can access them with a glove on

the switches are mounted in the factory ash tray, i drilled a hole in the back to make room to snake the wires out, the switches take a 19mm hole, the cat6 panel connections take a 25mm hole. the mxt275 and my uniden cb both have the controls on the handset and use cat5 or 6 connectors, I used a cat6 patch cable to extend the run to the amplifier units that i mounted under the back seat the cb is installed the mxt275 is prewired, but has not arrived yet. I ran the cat 5, power, and antenna cables already, I just have to mount the unit. it is exaclty the same size as the uniden. on the panel the two trim screws are backed up by some nylon spacers so the unit is stable when you push the buttons, you can get the switches custom etched from Custombilletbuttons.com

Yep! I've been researching a bit before hand, that was an issue that came up. I picked up a 4 pack of 50W 6ohm Load Resistors for like $8, no way I was spending $20 for 1 from the autoparts store.
I have replaced all the courtesy and map lights on my 2002 the leds have not been an issue,
I finally got her dialed in, the last adjustment was actually the angle on the front sway bar, it looked ok, but turns out the previous owners shop screwed that up also, not just the caster and toe, etc. I did some research and turns out the sway bar was 23 degrees too flat, I extended the jks links and it made a huge difference in handling. 80 mph is no issue

we finally had a relatively warm day so got to wash her also :)

Did you fab that mount yourself?
Is the mount made from aluminum or steel?
How did you attach the mount to the Jeep?... ...Did you use Rivet Nuts, self-tapping bolts, pop-rivets or something else?
Does the grommet where the coax goes through stay sealed?
The mount was just laying around the shop, I am not sure what it came out of, I used rivet nuts in the sheet metal to attach it. I cut a small slice into the grommet to feed them through and used rtv to seal the grommet back up, the grommets still sits in the factory hole.

yesterday I made further adjustments to the caster on the passenger front front and pinion angle on the rear, the front should be done. I believe I will need one more adjustment on the rear, but I'll test it today.
Gmrs is not affected by the vehicle nearly as much as cb, you will find most mounting areas outside the vehicle to be adequate
interrupted the lead to the fuel pump for a hidden kill switch. Denver has become one of the number one cities for auto theft. I am going to do this in the platinum and the q7 also.

I actually don't get to Denver from the mountain often, but it's getting serious.
Are they hot wiring vehicles or is it carjacking and stealing keys that's mainly going on?
You name it, highest rare of car thefts per capita in the country, rught now
One billion $ in stolen auto mobiles last year, cali still has more thefts but they have 45 million more people

The childrens hospital complex in aurora has over 100 cars stolen from their parking lot alone last year. Patients and students cars, one if my wife's grad students had the same car stolen twice last year
