What did you do to your CJ today?

Installed front speakers (6.5”) a few nights ago…need to tidy up wiring. Trying to figure out if the vertically driven 6x9 pods will fit with the Genright cage. Speakers aren’t marine (amp is), but came with Jeep when I bought it. Amp is a small JL Audio 50x4. 6.5s sound really nice. Was thinking of a soundbar for the rear, it I want a little more bass than those provide.

Getting top made for Genright cage. Should be on tomorrow. Marine (not sure if just a heavier fabric or something else) grade sunbrella with weblog backing.

good buddy does canvas/upholstery for boats and most anything else.

Got wiring from alternator redone as well as other wires to solenoid run more properly.

she’s running better than ever with good voltage to ECM. Idle is where it should be instead of 900ish, IAC seems to be reading more properly and it started up 2-3 revs faster than previously.
Hit a few surprises in the process and surprised it operated as well as it did with some of the splices we uncovered.

ordered some new loom and Tesa tape that I plan on doing Sunday. Hope warm weather shows back up next week so I can see how she does when running more than idle. I’ve got high hopes, though.
