Can somebody please confirm if this will fit a WH CRD a rang a jeep dealer and he reckons it wont fit the crd motor can somebody please confirm if this is the case?

part nm 82208713 he suggested that i need K51214064AB but I cannot find any info on this part and it 3X the price of the other one, and he didnt seem to know what he was talking about.

it looks correct for a left hand drive WK, the wide part goes to the front. Not sure about the WH.

but you seem to be missing some stuff. the stock skid plate has a noise pad on top of it and the stock skid plate has a oil drain deflector, probably not essential parts, just wanted to mention to you. the oil deflector is not very effective, the dealership made such a mess last time that I've already decided to remove the skid plate in advance of the oil change, it only takes a few minutes to remove it.

the hole toward the front is to allow air to get the front differential. by the use of a heat sensor, I've noticed alot of heat in the front diff area due to restricted air flow, even with the hole in the skid plate.

I looked through the pdf I have for 2008 parts and the part number for the CRD skid plate is different than that of the gassers. I'd imagine it's due to the drain location or different shape of the motor or something. The skid plate, deflector and bolts were all listed separately so I'd imagine the part number you have is for the whole kit.

I replaced the plastic engine skid plate with a metal one on my 2007 CRD (left hand drive). Here are some photos of the old and new versions.

did the other plastic splash gaurd behind this one still fit? it looks like the rolled edge at the back end would stop the other splash gaurd from fitting?

is the plastic engine skid plate from an 07 and the metal one from an 08? or are they both from an 07 and the metal is an upgrade?

you see on the 07 crd skid plate, it has the oil drain deflector that I have on the 08 crd skid plate? My 08 crd skid plate also has a noise deflector padding, all it does is hold the dirt and oil.

I should crawl under my jeep and take a closer look, it seems to me the front of my 08 skid plate has extra holes for some deflector that is under the front air dam, like what you see on the plastic skid plate. Also, I thought my 08 skid plate was wider at the back. I've taken the skid plate out twice, but I've not taken any photos.

I was able to tuck the plastic splash guard under the edge of the metal skid plate. The mounting holes don't line up but it seems to be captured very securely.

yeah, that is at the front. as I said in my other post, my 08 metal skid plate has holes in the front to attach plastic guard that goes under the front air dam.
