vin plate / registration

Hello, moved to Europe and brought my 1978cJ5 with me, tried to legalise the car but I have one issue, my vin number / Jeep a plate is not to find anywhere. Need the Jeep plate to get it inspected here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
