Does anyone know if you need your front sway bar to pass Virginia state inspection? I still have mine on but the links are too long so it's hanging a little low right now so I was thinking it would just be easier to take it off for inspection this month instead of trying to fix it right now. Thanks guys!
Yes you need it. You also need it for safely driving anyways. I'm also not sure how an end link can be too long to just hook up for an inspection.....too short , yes, because it would get into the coil. Please explain...and welcome to tthe forum
Edit: also just noticed your local. if you see a big green/black zj with beefy orange long arms that'd be me. Check out www.kmaoffroad.org as well if youre interested in a local club

I'm not sure how to explain it cause I'm still a little new to having a Jeep but when I drive you can hear my sway bar rattling around. I'll deff check out that page though! I need to know more Jeep people haha. And if you see a red zj without a back bumper that's me.
You can drive without it, not suggested but it isn't likely to kill you... though it could, I used to do it a lot. I imagine you'd need it for the inspection though, so just leave it
I drove mine around briefly last week without any sway bar links...why the hell would you want to even if it would pass inspection, it handles like a complete bag of crap.
