I installed an aftermarket radio on my 2000 TJ, and killed the battery while doing it. I've run a repair cycle and recharged using a trickle charger, so ignition is fine. It was running fine before all this, now I have to give it gas to get it to start and it dies as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator. Any idea what I've done?

I’m not sure what happened but most likely you lost the IAC setting in the PCM & if so it should relearn if you just drive it a bit. Just keep it running by pedaling the gas only as needed & eventually it should stay running at idle.

This seems to have worked. It’s running just fine now. Wish I understood this better, but I’ll call it a win. Thanks!

Haven’t gotten a code reader yet (just recently got the jeep), guess I’ll be needing one, but I’m back up and running for now.
